Exchange of information for the purpose of crime prevention is an important area of Interpol's activities

At the initiative of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Central Bureau of Interpol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country held a seminar-meeting on the exchange of information and requests for the prevention of organized crime and the detention of wanted persons on February 5-6 of this year.

The First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, militia lieutenant general Alamshozoda Abdurahmon Alamsho, the head of the Interpol Central Security Bureau of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, militia colonel Shakhriyor Nazriev, officers of the legal department of the International organization Interpol Eva Latte, Alla Bachinska and Guillerma Vidate, as well as representatives took part in the seminar-meeting, Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tajikistan, employees of departments of internal affairs bodies.

The seminar was opened by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Militia Lieutenant General Abdurahmon Alamshozoda, and on behalf of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Militia Colonel General Rahimzoda, Ramazon Hamro welcomed the guests to the Republic of Tajikistan and wished the participants success in the seminar.

He added that one of the main and priority tasks of the National Central Bureau of Interpol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan is close cooperation with law enforcement agencies of Interpol member states and coordination of the fight against crime.

It should be noted that the National Central Bureau Interpol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan has carried out significant work on exchanging information and considering requests with law enforcement agencies of member states.

“Today, the threats and dangers of the modern period encourage law enforcement officers to work together, always ahead of the criminal world,” the speaker said.

At the same time, A. Alamshozoda called it important to develop relations in the fight against terrorism, drug smuggling and the prevention of other transnational organized crimes, as well as the coordinating role of law enforcement agencies of Interpol member states in ensuring the safety of the population on the territory of these states.

Then the officer of the legal department of the International Organization Interpol, Eva Latte, thanked the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for welcoming and holding such an event, which helps promote the direction of activity.
She noted that it is important to develop further cooperation in the field of crime prevention, exchange of information and requests.
However, it should be noted that the leadership of the General Secretariat of Interpol is taking all necessary measures to strengthen this cooperation and joint activities of 196 member states and ensure security on the territory of these states, as well as to support and bring to justice the leaders and members of international organized criminal groups.
Eva Latte also noted that all topics of this seminar are considered, including the exchange of information and their discussion on a legal basis. “Studying mutual experience will complement our knowledge, and I am confident that in the course of our future activities we will apply this experience,” she added.
Continuing the event, the participants spoke on the direction of activity, preventing organized crime, detaining persons on the international wanted list, expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, ensuring international and regional security, eliminating the threats and dangers of our time, exchanging information and experiences of each other, and also made proposals for solving existing problems and ways to overcome them.
