At the 26th meeting of the Coordination Council of the Heads of Competent Authorities of the member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization on the topic of combating illegal migration, held on December 13, 2023 in the capital of the Republic of Belarus - the city of Minsk, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Militia Major General  took part Nasimzoda Akbar Giyos and the head of the Passport and Registration Service, Militia Major General Khalilzoda Hussein Sobir.

During the meeting, issues were discussed based on the results of the work done in the direction of the CSTO regional activities to combat illegal immigration with the code name “Illegal”, migration status in the CSTO member countries, the experience of the competent authorities in implementing migration control over foreign citizens, and the exchange of experience in developing changes and additions to regulations in the field of migration, issuing temporary residence permits to foreign citizens and stateless persons, simplified admission of foreign citizens and stateless persons, combating the illegal employment of migrant workers and other topical issues of the industry.

Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs made reports on development issues and presented their proposals for improving and improving the activities of the Coordination Council of Heads of Competent Authorities of the CSTO member countries.
Also at the end of the meeting, the Council’s action plan for the coming year was reviewed.
