Meeting of the Minister of Internal Affairs with the leaders of public organizations of Tajiks living in Russia

On August 28, 2023, in the building of the Embassy of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation, a meeting was held between the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General of Militia Rakhimzoda Ramazon Khamro, who is on a working visit to Moscow, with the leaders of public organizations of Tajiks living in Russia, public activists, well-known representatives of the intelligentsia from among compatriots living in the host country.

The meeting was also attended by employees of the Embassy, representative offices of the Ministry of Labour, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation, as well as representatives of representative offices of ministries and departments of Tajikistan in this country.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on issues related to labor migration, especially on explanatory and informational work, compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation, the procedure for documenting and preparing labor migrants before leaving.

Representatives of organizations and societies were called upon to strengthen ties and cooperation with compatriots, as well as to educate young people in the spirit of national unity and patriotism in order to prevent unwanted actions.
