Meeting of the Minister of Internal Affairs with the newly appointed US Ambassador to Tajikistan
On April 18, 2023, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General of Militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Khamro, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Manuel Micaller.
During the meeting, the Minister of Internal Affairs congratulated Mr. Manuel Micaller on his appointment to this responsible diplomatic post and wished him success in his future activities.
It was noted that during the period of independence, Tajik-American relations in various fields, including political, economic, cultural and humanitarian, security and the fight against international terrorism, are effectively developing taking into account the interests of both sides.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in the field of combating terrorism, extremism, modern dangers and threats and expressed their readiness for further development and expansion of cooperation.
