On February 20, 2023, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General of Militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Tajikistan Umut Acar.
Initially, the Minister of Internal Affairs Rakhimzoda R.Kh. congratulated Mr. Umut Acar on his appointment to a responsible diplomatic post and wished him success in his future activities.
The Minister of Internal Affairs expressed regret over the consequences of the catastrophic earthquake that occurred on February 6 this year, and expressed deep sympathy and condolences to all the fraternal people of Turkey.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in the field of combating terrorism, extremism, information security and other topical issues.
