On November 18-19, a Tajik delegation headed by First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Abdurahmon Alamshozoda took part in the Ministerial Conference on Combating the Financing of Terrorism in New Delhi, India.
Abdurahmon Alamshozoda expressed his opinion on the measures taken by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the fight against the financing of terrorism, strengthening the protection of the state border and other topical issues.
He also spoke at the plenary session of the conference and called for strengthening cooperation and exchange of information and experience in the field of combating international terrorism and preventing its financing.
On the sidelines of the conference, Abdurahmon Alamshozoda met with the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of India, Swagat Das.
During the meeting, new opportunities and ways of mutually beneficial cooperation between the ministries of internal affairs of the two countries in the fight against organized crime, drug trafficking and cybercrime, including strengthening national potential, were discussed.
