On October 6, 2022, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General of Militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Khamro met with the Special Representative of the European Union for Central Asia, Ms. Teri Hakala. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Raimundas Karoblis, and other officials.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of cooperation, such as strengthening regional and international security, combating terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, and other important issues.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding; the parties expressed interest in strengthening further cooperation.
