On June 20, 2022, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General of Militia Rakhimzoda Ramazon Hamro, held a productive meeting with the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs for Security and Discipline of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Major General Seyed Majid Mirahmadi, who, as part of a working group, arrived in Tajikistan to implementation of previously signed agreements between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the meeting, it was noted that from year to year bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran is developing and expanding on the basis of bilateral and multilateral agreements, this is mutually beneficial cooperation in the fight against undesirable phenomena, challenges and threats of the modern world can be very productive.
Along with this, during the meeting, the parties discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in the field of combating terrorism, extremism and information exchange.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation.
