On December 18, 2021, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel General of the Militia Rakhimzoda Ramazon Hamro met with the newly appointed Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan, Aleksey Sergeevich Yegorov.
The Minister of Internal Affairs congratulated Alexey Sergeevich Yegorov on his appointment to the post of head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan and wished him success in his work.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in the field of combating terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, weapons, illegal migration, as well as the exchange of operational information and other topical issues.
Along with this, a number of constructive proposals were made to counter the threats and challenges of our time, such as transnational organized crime, as well as to prevent and collective struggle in this area.
During the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for further development and expansion of cooperation.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of friendship, mutual understanding and constructive dialogue.
