On November 20, 2021, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Militia Colonel General Rakhimzoda Ramazon Khamro met with the Deputy Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Valery Anatolyevich Semerikov.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the «Cobalt-2021» tactical and special exercises, which were held at the Fakhrobod military training ground in the Khuroson district.
Continuing the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation in the fight against transnational organized crime, terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking and in the field of information exchange.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Deputy Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization expressed confidence in strengthening ties and cooperation in these areas.
