A regular meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held

On October 11, a meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held. The delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan, headed by the Interior Minister, Militia Colonel General Ramazon Rakhimzoda, as well as ministers and representatives of the Ministries of Internal Affairs (police) of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia and Uzbekistan, took part in it via videoconferencing. Delegations of the CIS Executive Committee and the CIS Antiterrorist Center.

In total, 14 items were included in the agenda of the meeting. They touched upon the priority issues of cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states, the state and prospects for the development of the activities of basic organizations in the field of combating crime, cooperation in preventing crimes committed using technology Blockchain and cryptocurrencies, building the potential for interaction in solving crimes in the field of information technology, including Internet fraud, interaction in the prevention of the involvement of minors in destructive groups.
The issues of preparation of the draft Interstate Program of Joint Measures to Combat Crime for 2024–2028 and the development of a document regulating the procedure for obtaining and providing information contained in the information databases of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states in the field of combating vehicle theft were considered.
The issue of establishing a memorial sign of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States "For Strengthening Cooperation" was also considered.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan within the framework of the sixth question, proposed to the Ministries of Internal Affairs (police) of the Commonwealth countries to develop a draft interstate document regulating the procedure for organizing and conducting international controlled delivery by the competent authorities of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which found support on the part of other heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states.
At the end of the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states, a number of relevant decisions were adopted, which will contribute to strengthening further cooperation in the fight against crime.
