Meeting with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Muhammad Ahmad Al-Jobir

Today, November 22, 2017, Interior Minister Militia Colonel-General Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro met with the new Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Muhammad Ahmad Sultan Isso Al-Jobir.

At the beginning of the meeting, Interior Minister Ramazon Rahimzoda congratulated Mr. Muhammad Ahmad Sultan Isso Al-Jobir with the appointment to such a high and responsible post and expressed the hope that his stay at the diplomatic post will serve to develop and expand multilateral relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates.

At the meeting, the sides expressed their support for the development of cooperation in combating crime, terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, human trafficking and extradition of criminals.
During the conversation, Interior Minister Militia Colonel-General Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro noted that a number of agreements have been signed with the United Arab Emirates on many aspects of combating crime, and a good legal framework has been created for the development of bilateral cooperation in this direction.
In his turn, Mr. Muhammad Ahmad Sultan Isso Al-Jobir stressed the importance of information exchange in the field of combating crime and tracing criminals.
It was noted that the parties need to cooperate in the field of security with the International Criminal Police Organization "Interpol" and the Main Office for Combating Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.
In conclusion, the parties expressed their readiness to expand and develop multifaceted cooperation.
The meeting was held in the spirit of mutual understanding and friendship
