Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan discussed issues of joint struggle against terrorism

 

Topics related to the development of bilateral relations between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan were considered during the meeting in Dushanbe at the end of last week of the first deputy Heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the two countries Abdurahmon Alamshozoda and Davron Nazarmuhamedov.

 

During the meeting, important issues related to regional security and joint struggle against crime were discussed, including terrorism, extremism, illegal drug trafficking, the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan. They also discussed the identification of persons wanted in the territories of the two states, the exchange of information in the field of operational and investigative activities, cooperation between the two countries' internal affairs bodies to prevent violations in the border areas and conduct joint operational search activities.

 

 

 

Following the meeting, the Protocol was signed. The delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan visited the Hissar fortress, the Sadriddin Aini capital culture and recreation park, the Kohi Navruz cultural and historical complex, the National Museum of Tajikistan and the new building of the Tajik Interior Ministry Academy.
