Perspectives of cooperation

On September 26, 2017, within the framework of the 86th session of the General Assembly of Interpol in Beijing, the People's Republic of China, Minister of Interior Colonel-General of the militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro met with Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Politburo of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Meng Jianzhu.

Minister of Public Security of the People's Republic of China Mr. Guo Shengkun also took part in the meeting.
During the meeting, the sides discussed cooperation in the fight against terrorism, extremism, separatism and other crimes, and exchanged views on the situation on the border with Afghanistan, security in the region and in the world.

Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Meng Jianzhu, expressed that China and Tajikistan are two friendly, neighborly countries, thanks to the cooperation of the leaders of the two countries, bilateral agreements are constantly developing.

The People's Republic of China expresses its gratitude to Tajikistan for its contribution to stability in the border regions between China, Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
At the same time, he expressed the hope that the structures of China and Tajikistan in the areas of law enforcement and security will strengthen the foundation for cooperation; deepen cooperation in such areas as the fight against terrorism, the management of border areas and the construction of infrastructure.

Also, issues, fighting crime, ways to prevent crime, and in this direction to establish mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation between the services of the two countries, the exchange of experience, information and other important issues were considered.

The meeting was held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
