On May 23, 2022, a delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, headed by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Major General of Militia, Rakhmonzoda Saidnakhsh Hakim, went to the city of Doha of the State of Qatar to participate in the 14th International Security and Safety Exhibition "Milipol, Qatar - 2022".
During the trip, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Major General of Militia Rahmonzoda S.Kh. met with the Deputy Minister of the Interior - Director General for Public Relations of the State of Qatar, H.E. Staff Major General Saad bin Jassim Al-Khulaifi.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and Qatar and, on this basis, further plans for the implementation of the intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the field of security.
It should be noted that on May 24-26, a delegation of the Ministry of the Interior will take part in the «Milipol, Qatar – 2022» International Security and Safety Exhibition.
Within the framework of the exhibition, meetings of the delegation of Tajikistan with representatives of companies producing equipment and technologies for ensuring public safety and law enforcement, as well as participation in qualifying meetings are planned.
