On November 1, 2018, Deputy Minister of the Interior, Major- General of Police Umarzoda Ikrom Islom, met with the delegation of the Federal Republic of Germany with head of headquarters for the return of migrants from the German Interior Mr. Christian Clos, head of policy of repayment, and German Emergency and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Mr. Neithart Höfer-Wissing and other accompanying officials.
During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation issues related to the fight against organized crime, terrorism, extremism, the search for persons, including through Interpol, and voluntary return and repatriation.
The parties also touched upon the signing of an intergovernmental agreement between Tajikistan and Germany on cooperation in the fight against crime and security.
In conclusion, they expressed confidence in the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
The meeting was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
