On September 10, 2026, a substantive meeting was held at the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan for the city of Dushanbe, with the participation of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General of Militia Ramazon Rahimzoda Hamro, and the leadership of the capital’s law enforcement agencies. The meeting brought together compatriots residing abroad and was held in honor of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It should be noted that the compatriots residing abroad arrived in the Republic of Tajikistan several days ago and took part in festive celebrations and cultural events dedicated to this important historical date.
During the meeting, the Minister of Internal Affairs delivered a speech addressing the complex and turbulent situation during the years of the civil war, the constructive and historic role of the Leader of the Nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, in achieving peace and stability, strengthening full political and state sovereignty, as well as the achievements made during the period of State Independence.
The compatriots residing abroad also addressed the meeting and expressed their gratitude to the country’s leadership for its continued attention and care for them.
It was emphasized that, being aware of their civic responsibility, they are ready to contribute to the improvement and development of the country, including its economic and social development, as well as to promote the achievements of independent Tajikistan abroad.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of sincere respect and featured an exchange of views on strengthening cooperation and expanding ties.
