As a result of operational and investigative measures carried out by officers of Department of Internal Affairs Unit No. 1 in the city of Isfara, a sexual offense committed under the guise of religious faith was uncovered.
It was established that citizen Sadriddin Isomiddinov, born in 1981, a resident of the city of Konibodom and temporarily residing in Isfara, who had previously been convicted under Part 4 of Article 247 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, had committed immoral acts against women who sought his assistance, under the pretext of reciting prayers.
In particular, on August 13, 2026, he went to the home of citizen A.N., a resident of Isfara, allegedly to perform a prayer. During the prayer, taking advantage of her religious trust, he committed immoral acts against her.
A criminal case has been initiated against S.N. Isomiddinov under Article 141¹ of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan. The investigation is ongoing.
