The internal affairs bodies received a statement from citizen Sh. Berdieva, born in 1986 and a resident of Chorbog Rural Jamoat of Varzob District, stating that on July 18, 2026, at approximately 2:00 p.m., unidentified persons intentionally set fire to a storage facility located on the territory of her household and then fled the scene.
As a result of the fire, the property and the roof of the storage facility, covering an area of 15 square meters, were completely destroyed, causing material damage to the victim in the amount of 11,000 somoni.
During operational search activities, it was established that the crime was committed by citizen D. Rustamzoda, born in 2007 and a resident of Chorbog Rural Jamoat of Varzob District.
Investigative measures are currently being carried out regarding this incident.
