Following a review of a complaint filed by S. M. Yuldoshev, born in 1985, a resident of Firdavsi District, Dushanbe, officers of the Firdavsi District Department of Internal Affairs No. 2 uncovered a case of fraud allegedly committed by Sokhibnazar H., born in 1977, and S. L. Turaev, born in 1984, both residents of Sino District.
According to the investigation, the suspects allegedly abused the complainant’s trust by falsely promising to assist in having his criminal record expunged. Under this pretext, they obtained a total of US$33,000 from him in two separate installments. They subsequently disposed of the funds for their own personal use.
The investigation into the case is ongoing.
