Vehicle Theft Solved
Rustam Boishev, born in 1999, a resident of the Kumsangir Rural Jamoat in Jaihun District, filed a complaint with the District Department of Internal Affairs, reporting that during the night of July 1–2, 2026, unknown individuals had stolen his Opel Astra bearing registration number 91-36 RA 01, which had been parked outside his residence. The estimated damage amounted to 46,500 somoni.
During operational search and investigative activities, police identified the suspect as Erkindjon Anatolyevich Kadyrov, born in 1993, a resident of Jaloliddini Balkhi District, who had previously been convicted of a similar offense.
Suspect Detained in Shop Burglary
In a separate case, officers of the Firdavsi District Department of Internal Affairs No. 2 detained Mehrodj Begmadov, born in 2004, a resident of Jaloliddini Balkhi District, on suspicion of committing theft.
The investigation established that at approximately 3:10 a.m. on June 22, 2026, the suspect unlawfully entered the Rasul grocery store in Firdavsi District, owned by Rasul Kakhkhorov, born in 1996, a resident of Rudaki District, and allegedly stole 4,000 somoni in cash.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated in both cases.
