The Kulob City Department of Internal Affairs received a complaint from Sh.S. Abdulloev, born in 1964 and a resident of Kulob, stating that on June 23, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m., unknown individuals secretly entered his home and stole 3,200 somoni in cash and a Samsung mobile phone valued at 2,000 somoni.
As a result of operational search measures, it was established that the theft had been committed by two juvenile residents of Kulob.
In a separate case, officers of the Khujand City Department of Internal Affairs detained Bobur Makhmatkulovich Shamsiev, born in 1999 and a resident of Panjakent, on suspicion of committing theft.
The investigation established that, despite having previously been convicted under Articles 244 and 374 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, he failed to reform. On June 14, 2026, at approximately 2:00 a.m., he allegedly secretly stole various gold and silver jewelry items from a jewelry store located in the Panjshanbe Market in Khujand. The store belongs to A.S. Makhmudova, born in 1978 and a resident of Buston.
The total amount of damage caused was estimated at 15,000 somoni.
A criminal case has been initiated, and the investigation is ongoing.
