On June 21, 2026, at approximately 11:40 a.m., the driver of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle with registration number 57-73 UU 08, Emomali Sukhrobovich Sheraliev, born in 2006 and a resident of the Garm settlement of Rasht District, was traveling along the Vahdat–Rasht–Lakhsh highway. At the 153rd kilometer of the road, he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn.
As a result of the traffic accident, E.S. Sheraliev died at the scene. Four passengers who were in the vehicle sustained various injuries and were hospitalized.
The circumstances of the accident are currently under investigation.
