On June 14, 2026, at approximately 8:30 a.m., the driver of a ZIL MMZ-4502 truck, bearing registration number 891 XV 01, Mr. Aminjon Asrorovich Ismoilov, born in 1995 and residing in the Sino District, was traveling from N. Karabaev Street towards Borbad Street. Opposite the Oriyo gas station, he lost control of the vehicle and struck a cyclist, Mr. Nazirmad Khorkash Shafozoda, born in 1984 and residing on 50th Anniversary of Tajikistan Street in the Firdavsi District.
As a result of the collision, Mr. Shafozoda sustained severe bodily injuries and died at the scene.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
