On May 26, 2026, the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Police Colonel-General Alamshozoda Abdurrahmon Alamsho, held a meeting with the Deputy Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Ms. Najat Shamim Khan, who arrived in the Republic of Tajikistan to participate in the Fourth High-Level International Conference dedicated to the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018–2028”.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in the areas of human rights protection, ensuring equal opportunities between women and men, combating human trafficking, as well as other forms of crime, including international terrorism and extremism.
Information was also presented on the progress and achievements of police reform in the Republic of Tajikistan.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed confidence in the further strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the fields of human rights protection and security.
At the end, the parties expressed confidence in strengthening bilateral cooperation on the protection of rights and ensuring security.
