On May 18, 2026, at approximately 01:10, the driver of an Aion S+ electric vehicle, Bekhruz Murodmakhmadov, born in 2007, a resident of the city of Bokhtar, while traveling on Vahdat Street, lost control of the vehicle and struck a pedestrian — Farrukh Kurbonov, born in 1999, also a resident of Bokhtar.
As a result of the injuries sustained, the pedestrian died on the way to the hospital. An investigation into the tragic traffic accident is underway.
