Police officers identified signs of a crime under Article 120 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan — threat of murder or causing serious bodily harm — in the actions of A.A. Khomidov, born in 1963, a resident of the city of Khujand.
According to the investigation, the suspect, while on I. Somoni Street in Khujand, obstructed the activities of workers from the company "Kudrat 2010" LLC and expressed complaints toward them. Later, a conflict arose between him and a local resident, S.R. Rustamshozoda, born in 1986.
During the quarrel, Khomidov took a sickle from his home, returned, and threatened his opponent with murder. In addition, he inflicted bodily injuries on the victim.
A criminal case has been initiated against Khomidov, and the investigation is ongoing.
