On May 15, 2026, Abdullo Rofiev, born in 1972, a resident of the Devashtich District, while intoxicated, got into a conflict with his drinking companion Furkat Abdujabborov, born in 1975, also a resident of Devashtich District, in the area of Ravot, in the I. Somoni Jamoat.
During the quarrel, Rofiev inflicted multiple stab wounds to the chest of his opponent. The victim sustained severe bodily injuries and died on the way to the hospital.
A criminal case has been initiated against Abdullo Rofiev under Part 1 of Article 104 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan. The suspect has been taken into custody.
