During operational-search activities, police officers detained M.K. Tursunov, born in 1990, a resident of Spitamen District, on suspicion of committing theft.
According to the investigation, on May 1, 2026, at approximately 13:10, the suspect stole 22,600 somoni from an Opel Combo belonging to N.K. Alovitdinov, born in 1973. The vehicle was unattended at the time in the territory of the Dehmai Jamoat of Jabor Rasulov District.
After committing the crime, the perpetrator fled the scene.
A criminal case has been initiated against Tursunov under Part 3 of Article 244 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan. The investigation is ongoing.
