On May 8, 2026, the Minister of Internal Affairs, General Colonel of militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro held a meeting at the 6th Faculty of the Academy of Internal Affairs with teachers and cadets of the Operational Search Activities Department and students of the 1st Faculty of this educational institution and held a constructive discussion with them on the theory and practice of operational search activities. At the beginning of his speech, the Minister of Internal Affairs reiterated the constant concern of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and the educational policy of the Government of the country. He also encouraged cadets and students of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to earn good grades and become specialists in their chosen field, taking advantage of the opportunities provided. It was noted that one of the main areas of the modern legal sphere of the Republic of Tajikistan, aimed at ensuring state security and combating crime, is operational search activities, and today, Tajikistan has all the legal foundations for the professional activities of law enforcement officers.
It was emphasized that it was during the period of state independence that the real foundation for operational search activities was laid, and this area has evolved from a practical activity into an important branch of legal science. Speaking about the implementation of operational search activities and the documentation of these activities, the Minister of Internal Affairs noted that to succeed in this area, operational officers must possess comprehensive knowledge and high professional skills. To achieve these goals, every operational officer must possess political knowledge and a broad worldview, which can be achieved through reading fiction, history, political, and cultural books.
At the end of the meeting, Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro recommended that the cadets enhance their theoretical knowledge during internships in law enforcement agencies, as well as explore and master the nuances and interrelations of this area of activity with other areas of legislation. Furthermore, during a free discussion, the cadets posed questions to the Minister of Internal Affairs on this area of activity and received satisfactory answers.
Concurrently, the Minister of Internal Affairs visited the research and educational work of Faculty No. 6 of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
