On March 17, 2026, as part of the UN anti-fraud event to be held in Vienna on March 16-17, 2026, a meeting was held between the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Police Colonel-General Alamshozoda Abdurakhmon, and the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna and Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) John Brandolino.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in countering terrorism and radical extremism, human trafficking, transnational organized crime, drug trafficking, and other areas.
They also discussed enhancing the professional skills of law enforcement officers and joint cooperation in combating fraud on social media.
