As a result of investigative measures, militia officers discovered that on August 12, 2024, a 47-year-old resident of Istaravshan defrauded a 48-year-old local resident in Istaravshan. He promised to help him purchase and register a plot of land in the village of Guli Surkhi for his family. He then took 1,220,000 Istaravshan somoni from him, which he has not yet returned.
A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under Part 4 of Article 247 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, and an investigation is underway.
