As a result of investigative operations, militia officers detained a 52-year-old resident of Buston on suspicion of unlawful deprivation of liberty.
The suspect, while in his apartment, got into an argument with his father, a 79-year-old local resident. Due to a misunderstanding, he bound his father's hands, feet, and mouth with bandages and tape. From February 21 to 23, 2026, he held him in a room of the apartment, using methods dangerous to his life and health.
A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under Part 2 of Article 131 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan.
An investigation is underway.
