On February 24, 2026, a training seminar on combating human trafficking was held at the Abu Ali Ibni Sino Tajik State Medical University. Judges from the Supreme Court, the Dushanbe City Court, and its subordinate courts, as well as prosecutors from the Prosecutor General's Office, the Dushanbe City Prosecutor's Office, and its subordinate agencies, participated.
The seminar was opened by the Chairman of the Interdepartmental Commission on Combating Human Trafficking, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Militia Colonel General Abdurakhmon Alamshozoda. During the event, instructors and participants discussed current issues in criminal proceedings.
Academics and industry experts participated in the training seminar. The purpose of this event is to strengthen judicial and investigative practices in the investigation of criminal cases related to human trafficking and to ensure respect for the rights and freedoms of victims of human trafficking.
