The DMIA-2 in the Firdavsi district of Dushanbe received a complaint from a 63-year-old resident of the capital, alleging that the director of “Vose-2005” LLC, a 46-year-old resident of Dushanbe, who was obligated under the contract to obtain permission and notarize the property in order to protect the rights of the owners and ensure social justice, compensated the owners for damages caused by the eviction, and also on the condition of further granting ownership of the premises and the shopping and service center in the new building located in the Firdavsi district. However, during construction, in accordance with the contract concluded with the owners, the suspect altered the interior layout of the residential buildings to comply with building codes and deceive consumers. In order to obtain additional profit, he understated the area of the buildings being sold and deceived residents by increasing the number of apartments per floor from 6 to 7. He also reduced the height of shopping centers and used substandard materials that posed a threat to the lives and property of residents, contrary to the approved requirements of the construction project, causing damage to the owners in the amount of 1,208,439 somoni.
