During investigative operations, militia detained a 42-year-old resident of Khujand, previously convicted under Part 2 of Article 244 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, on suspicion of theft.
On February 11, 2026, at approximately 9:30 PM, the suspect secretly entered the new building of a 49-year-old Khujand resident, located in the 5th district of Khujand, stole a concrete mixer worth 4,000 somoni, and fled the spot.
A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under Part 2 of Article 244 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, and an investigation is underway.
