Expanding Mutually Beneficial Cooperation
On January 22, 2026, a meeting was held between the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General of Militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro, and the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Tajikistan, Radoslav Darski.
During the meeting, the parties discussed strengthening cooperation in the fight against terrorism, extremism, cybercrime, drug trafficking, the search for wanted persons, information exchange, and other forms of transnational organized crime.
Furthermore, during the meeting, the parties exchanged views on issues of global peace and stability and expressed their readiness to further develop and expand cooperation.
It was emphasized that joint cooperation will be crucial for effectively countering terrorism, extremism, radicalism, and transnational organized crime, including cybercrime and drug trafficking.
