On December 28, 2025, at approximately 19:50 p.m., the driver of a “Dongfeng”, born in 1984, a resident of Khujand, lost control of his vehicle while driving on the 251st km of the “Dushanbe-Khujand-Chanok” highway in the Devashtich district and hit a pedestrian boy, born in 1986, a resident of the Devashtich district, who was crossing the road.
As a result, the pedestrian sustained various injuries and died in the hospital. Also, on December 28, 2025, at approximately 15:30 p.m., the driver of a “Honda Avante”, born in 1992, a resident of the Vose district, was driving from the city of Kulyab toward the Sh. Shokhin district and knocked down a pedestrian teenager, born in 2001, a local resident. As a result, the victim sustained serious injuries and died in the hospital on December 29, 2025, at approximately 07:00 a.m.
