On December 23, 2025, at approximately 18:30 p.m., the driver of a Lexus 350, born in 1987, a resident of Gissar, lost control of the vehicle while driving from the village of Iston to the center of Gissar and hit a pedestrian, man, born in 1968, a resident of Gissar.
As a result, the pedestrian sustained serious injuries and died at the spot.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
