During investigative operations, militia officers established that on December 23, 2025, at approximately 09:00 a.m., four brothers, ages 40, 38, and 35, along with an 11-year-old, residents of the Shahritus district, had gathered to collect firewood. While intoxicated, a domestic dispute erupted between them at approximately 15:00 p.m.
The two brothers, ages 38 and 35, conspired to beat the older brother, a 40-year-old man, and then struck him twice in the head with a large stone.
The man died at the spot of accident.
To conceal their crime, the detainees buried the body in the same location, at a depth of approximately 30 centimeters. As a result, they planned to take advantage of their neighbors' absence overnight, intending to dig up the body and bury it in the courtyard of a residential building, but were detained upon arrival at the spot.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated against the suspects under Part 2 of Article 104 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the investigation is ongoing.
