As a result of operational search activities, detained a man previously convicted under Article 107 of the Criminal Code. In April 2023, a 33-year-old resident of the Qubodiyon district gained the trust of two 40-year-old local residents by promising that he owned residential property in the Qubodiyon jamoat and would sell it to them for 1,100,000 somoni. He then obtained 511,000 somoni from them in several installments, and then, without committing any action, spent the money for his own benefit, causing serious harm to the victims.
A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under Part 4 of Article 247 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, and an investigation is underway.
