On November 28, 2025, at approximately 10:00 AM, the driver of a Khovo truck, a man, born in 1972, a resident of Dushanbe, lost control of the truck while traveling from the village of Kharangon to the village of Devdara in the Varzob district and knocked a pedestrian, a man, born in 1984, a resident of the Nurabad district, who was working on road construction.
As a result, the pedestrian man sustained serious injuries and died at the spot.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
