During investigative operations, militia officers established that on June 10, 2024, a 37-year-old resident of Dushanbe entered into a joint venture agreement with the management of the construction company “Sokhtumon” Palace LLC for the construction of an apartment building. He received his share of the property, and after receiving the ownership and acquired rights, he was aware that the apartments in this building had been sold by the director of the construction company Sokhtumon “Palace LLC” to other citizens based on contracts. In order to obtain gratuitous profit, he gained the trust of the citizens and re-executed the agreement in his own name, acting as a representative of “Sokhtumon” Palace LLC.
In November 2024, the aforementioned man gained the trust of a 28-year-old resident of Panjakent, sold her a 46.41 sq. m apartment on the 14th floor of an unfinished new building for 160,000 somoni using an unnumbered and dated contract, and then used the money for personal purposes.
Thus, in January 2025, the perpetrator repeatedly gained the trust of a 38-year-old resident of Muminabad, extorted 187,000 somoni from him, sold him a 53.67 sq. m apartment on the 10th floor of an unfinished new building using an unnumbered and dated contract, and kept the money for himself.
An investigation is underway into these facts.
