In February 2025, a 32-year-old Dushanbe resident filed a complaint with the Shohmansur District DMIA-1 in Dushanbe, claiming that a 44-year-old woman from the capital, having gained his trust, purchased a 111.73 square meter apartment from him for $72,800 in cash, promising to sell it within two months and return the money. However, the suspect sold the apartment to another person and used the proceeds for personal purposes.
An investigation is underway.
