On November 18, 2025, as part of the working visit of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, to the cities and districts of the Sughd Region, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General of Militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro, reviewed the improvement, repair, and reconstruction work at the Spitamen District DMIA and commissioned additional office and auxiliary facilities.
Over the past six months, with the support of the district's executive authority and the involvement of entrepreneurs, the main building and maintenance facilities of the department have been completely renovated. An additional two-story building, a 50-seat dining hall and six separate bedrooms, two rooms (a four-bedroom hotel), auxiliary facilities, such as a washbasin for personnel, a vertical well for a regular water supply to the department building, and a new area have also been commissioned.
Furthermore, the old trees were replaced with evergreen and ornamental plants and shrubs, and the surrounding landscaping further transformed the Department's appearance. During the tour, the new developments were presented and the importance of their development was noted.
The Minister of Internal Affairs expressed satisfaction with the quality of the work performed and demanded that the personnel demonstrate responsibility, a readiness to protect the interests of the state and society, and perform their official duties at a high level. They were given specific instructions on preventing offenses and crime, improving operational knowledge and practical skills, and improving their language proficiency.
The employees, in turn, also pledged to fulfill their official duties responsibly and earn the trust of citizens and the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
