On November 10, an agricultural fair dedicated to the Tajik Militia Day was held near the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The products of subsidiary farms of the internal affairs bodies and the Agency of State Material Resources under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan were sold at the fair, the prices of which were 30-50 percent lower than the market. In particular, the price of a bag of flour was 170 somoni, 1 kg of meat – 50 somoni, a cell of eggs – 15 somoni, a liter of vegetable oil – 10 somoni, potatoes, onions and carrots – 2 somoni. Other goods at low prices were also sold to law enforcement officers, veterans and their families.
It is worth noting that every year on the eve of all holidays and celebrations; the Ministry of Internal Affairs holds festive fairs of essential goods, where employees of the department can purchase products at low prices.
The holiday fairs were initiated by the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and their goal is to improve the lives of employees and veterans of the division.
