On October 25, 2025, the 4th Meeting of the Interior Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Member States was held in Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran. The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General of Militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro, attended and addressed the meeting.
In his speech, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General of Militia Rahimzoda R.Kh., noted Tajikistan's significant role in the fight against transnational organized crime and expressed his views on cooperation in regional security, contributions to ECO initiatives, and potential areas of partnership to address common challenges.
The meeting discussed strengthening cooperation between law enforcement agencies, measures to combat transnational organized crime, disaster and crisis management strategies, expanding regional and cross-border cooperation, migration management and border security, and regional cooperation on emerging technological issues, including artificial intelligence.
