A 37-year-old local resident filed a report with the Vahdat DMIA. On October 17, 2025, at approximately 1:30 PM, an unknown individual, near the "Echodi Kudakon" center located on 20th Anniversary of Independence Street, identified himself as a law enforcement officer and forced a 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man, both residents of Vahdat, into a “Lacetti” vehicle. He threatened them, stole their cell phone, and took cash 80 somoni and fled at the spot.
During investigative operations, militia officers determined that the crime was committed by a 30-year-old resident of Dushanbe.
An investigation is underway.
