As a result of investigative operations, militia officers discovered that a 41-year-old resident of Khujand, who works as a specialist at the "Doctors of Mercy" medical and diagnostic center in Khujand, stole one pair of earrings and one gold chain worth 20,000 somoni from the purse of a 62-year-old resident of the Asht district on September 21, 2025, at approximately 3:15 PM. The suspect fled the spot of the crime.
A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under Part 2 of Article 244 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the investigation is ongoing.
During the course of investigative operations, militia officers also discovered that on February 6, 2025, at approximately 1:00 AM, 33-year-old woman stole an “iPhone 16 Pro Max” worth 16,500 somoni from a restroom at the Rumi entertainment center and fled.
