As a result of investigative operations, militia detained a 35-year-old resident of Dushanbe on suspicion of theft or embezzlement.
The aforementioned individual had worked at “Anahid” LLC as its chief accountant since 2019, and on January 1, 2022, he was promoted to head of the sales department.
According to the contract, the suspect sold the employer's products in certain areas of Dushanbe. He entered into a sales contract with the employer, sold “Anahid” LLC products to stores totaling 127,548 somoni, and failed to transfer the collected funds to the cash registers, embezzling the proceeds and using them for personal purposes.
An investigation is underway.
